Dr. Oliver founded Avalon Dental Care in 2001, and he has practised in Durham for over 25 years. His vision is to provide quality care and with convenient hours that will suit any lifestyle. Dr. Oliver likes to tackle challenging dental cases and often consults with the team to make sure all patients leave happy and their mouth in good-order.

In his spare time Dr. Oliver enjoys biking and travelling with his family, as well as keeping abreast of new technologies.

Dr. Monica Dinca graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 2008 and also earned a dental degree in Romania, where she practiced before immigrating to Canada. After UWO, she fine-tuned her oral surgery skills at three hospitals in London, ON alongside renowned surgeons. Since 2009, she has maintained a private practice as a general dentist, serving patients in Peterborough, Kitchener, Hagersville, Hamilton, and Toronto.

She is an active member of the Ontario Dental Association, Royal College of Dental Surgeons, and Toronto Implant Institute, and a fellow of both the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the World Laser Institute. With a special interest in oral surgery and endodontics—complemented by extensive training in dental implant placement—Dr. Dinca is equally passionate about family general dentistry and staying current with the latest dental technology through continuing education.

In her spare time, she enjoys travel, cooking, and photography.

Dr. Anthony has been an integral member of the Avalon Team for 15 years, bringing a wealth of experience and a collaborative approach to patient care. Known for his compassionate and patient-centered philosophy, Dr. Anthony works closely with each individual to achieve their health and wellness goals, consistently prioritizing their needs and well-being. His dedication and expertise have earned him the trust and appreciation of countless patients.

Dr. Sina holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto.

Driven by a desire to make a difference, he has engaged in numerous outreach efforts to bring dental care to underserved communities. His services span from Jamaica, Honduras, Dominican Republic, and Guatemala to Ontario, where he has served Fort Frances, Simcoe, Midhurst, and Toronto before joining Avalon in Whitby.

Outside of dentistry, he enjoys reading, piano, running, travel, and quality time with loved ones.

Dr. Shirin became a part of Avalon Dental Care in 2010. With an impressive track record of over 35 years in the field, she consistently prioritizes her patients' needs and concerns. Her enthusiasm for dentistry is evident every day through her dedication, compassion, and love for the well-being of her patients.

Dr. Rija completed her Bachelor of Dental Science at the National University of Science and Technology Pakistan, and Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Toronto.

Adopting a patient-centered approach, Dr. Rija is committed to continually enhancing her knowledge and abilities through persistent professional growth.

Dr. Irit is board-certified Periodontist.

Dr. Irit offers an extensive array of periodontal treatments. By sculpting and trimming the gums, she can enhance the smile and fix uneven gum lines. Gum grafting procedures address recession and thin gums, not only correcting the issues but also improving the smile. For missing teeth, dental implants can be provided, with bone or gum grafting as needed.

Dr. Irit also serves as a clinical instructor in the undergraduate dentistry program at the University of Toronto .

Dr. Monica a board-certified Orthodontist with a degree from the University of Connecticut, she earned her Dentistry degree from Boston University.

Her expertise in retainers led to her involvement with a craniofacial team at Yale University, treating patients with syndromes and cleft lip and palate.

Dr. Monica is bilingual having practised in Montreal.
