Our Dental team

Dr. Oliver founded Avalon Dental Care in 2001, and practised in Durham for over 20 years.  His vision is to provide quality care and with convenient hours that will suit any lifestyle.

Dr. Shirin joined Avalon Dental Care in 2010. 

With over 30 years of experience, she always ensures that her patient’s needs and concerns are addressed. Her passion for dentistry is conveyed daily through her energy, care, and love for her patients. 

Dr. Aaliyah is a graduate of The University of Western Ontario, School of Medicine and Dentistry.  Dr. Aaliyah has been a member of Avalon for twelve years. 

Dr. Joey obtained his degree in pharmacy from University of Toronto before pursuing his passion for dentistry at New York University College of Dentistry.

He has a special interest in dental surgery and has completed externships at UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry and Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC. 

His goal is to provide the highest level of care for his patients while tailoring the experience to meet each individual’s unique needs. 

Dr. Rija completed her Bachelor of Dental Science at the National University of Science and Technology Pakistan, and Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Toronto. 

Dr Madiha Alam completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Barkatullah University, India followed by Doctor of Dental Surgery from University of Toronto, Ontario.

She is committed to lifelong learning through continuing education, and aims to provide patients with the highest standard of care.

Dr. Anny Charolia completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Karachi University, Pakistan. She then pursued her dental career in Canada and graduated from the University of Toronto. She strongly believes in patient centered care and is constantly striving to build and maintain excellent dentist-patient relationship.
